Being an employer’s organisation Danish Regions has an interest in monitoring and influencing the EU-legislation in this area
Danish Regions seeks to monitor and influence the EU-legislation by taking part in the European Social Dialogue, and at the same time the organisation is actively engaged in the Danish and the European EU-legislation processes.
Legislative proposals and agreements such as the working time directive, occupational health and safety and legislation concerning occupational pension schemes are of great importance to Danish Regions due to their extensive impact on Danish and other health care systems.
Danish Regions is actively engaged in the preparation, set up and bargaining of new and revised agreements and strategies - at regional, national and EU level.
Danish Regions works to increase focus on regional and local issues especially within the European health care.
